Palm Beach County is proud to host the 2008 National Firefighter Games from Sept. 21 – Oct. 5, 2008 in Palm Beach Gardens.  The games strive to promote athletic competition and camaraderie amongst our Nation’s heroes.  Over 40 different sport competitions, ranging from basketball, golf, softball, and flag football to archery, rifle, paintball, and fishing, will be featured.  Palm Beach County expects to honor over 1,000 firefighters, which are expected to travel from across the nation to compete.

Volunteers are needed from September 21 – October 5 to assist the firefighters during registration at the game’s headquarters located at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott.
