Facilities
Palm Beach County is home to some of the
nation’s premier facilities. Event owners will uncover
a variety of high-quality facilities, which will make
a perfect fit for both amateur and professional sporting
events.
There
is a facility for everyone. Roger Dean Stadium is a 13-field
state-of-the art baseball complex, which is the only facility
in the country to host two professional baseball teams
during the Spring and two minor league teams during the
Summer. The 120-acre Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club hosts
the nation’s largest horse-jumping shows, turning
Palm Beach County into the show jumping capital of the
world by drawing Olympic equestrian athletes from around
the
world. The new $82 million Palm Beach County Convention
Center offers an excellent venue for an assortment of
events. Its exhibit hall and ballrooms provide an excellent
setting for numerous activities ranging from sport competitions
to corporate conferences or banquets. Click

County has to offer.
Funding
Palm Beach County offers funds to assist
events with specific costs through its grant program,
administered
by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. The financial
support offered to a wide number and variety of events
demonstrates the county’s commitment towards sustaining
and enhancing its hosted events. Funds are awarded based
on certain criteria, most notably the number of hotel
room nights created, since the grant program is funded
through the county’s bed tax. This grant program
used to assist event owners makes Palm Beach County a
premier destination for sporting events.
