FLORIDA STATE SILVER GLOVES CHAMPIONSHIPS
 EXPECTED TO BRING A BIG HIT TO PALM BEACH COUNTY

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Checkout live championship boxing this weekend as some of Florida’s finest youth boxers will compete for the Florida State Silver Gloves Championship.  Verbain Curry (125lbs weight class) of Glades Central High School and Riley Holmes III (105lbs weight class) of Lake Shores Middle School will be two of Palm Beach County’s featured boxers.  Both won the Police Athletic League State Championships in November and will be favorites to win this weekend.  Celebrity guests will include the Haitian Sensation, Daniel Edouard and the 3rd ranked women’s professional boxer in the world, Laura Ramsey.

The event, sponsored by Don King Productions, is scheduled for Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th at the Westgate Recreation Center, located at 3691 Oswego Avenue in West Palm Beach.  Doors open at 7pm on Friday and 2:30pm on Saturday.  Tickets for admission will be available at the door for $7 per person.  Children 12 and under will receive free admission.
