The Palm Beach County Sports Institute
is pleased to announce the return of one of Palm Beach County's
favorite events - the Kids Fitness Festival of the Palm
Beaches presented by Ronald McDonald House Charities of
South Florida.
Once again, the Kids Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches
will be held at the South Florida Fairgrounds on Thursday,
July 20 and Friday, July 21, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m.
The Kids Fitness Festival is such a success because there
is something for everyone! Elementary and Middle school
children can learn the basics of over 35 sports from the
area's leading instructors or they can hang out in the midway,
play games, make arts and crafts, and interact with professional
athletes and mascots. Parents will also enjoy the educational
expo, food, and interactive games.
Some of the sports clinics being offered this year are:
Archery, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, BMX, Bowling,
Boxing, Cheerleading, Chess, Dance, Fishing, Football, Golf,
Hockey, Judo, Jump Rope, Karate, Lacrosse, Malletball, Movement,
Netball, Powerlifting, Soccer, Table Tennis, Tae kwon do,
Tai Chi, Tennis and Weightlifting. Please note, these sport
clinics are subject to change.
Admission is $10 per day until June 30, 2006 and $15 after
June 30, 2006.The admission fee includes a Kids Fitness
Festival T-shirt, a gift bag, and a full day of fun and
activities.
Parents are admitted free of charge and are encouraged
to check out all that the festival has to offer!
