The 2012 Winter Equestrian Festival will take place at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center from January 11 through April 11, 2012. The Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC) is a 10-day ATP professional tennis event that will take place February 24 – March 4, 2012—the only combined ATP Tour event in the world held at the same venue the same week.Not only does the ITC bring the current top tennis players in the world to the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center, but fans are also entertained by some of the most decorated players in tennis history.

The Honda Classic will take place from February 27 – March 4, 2012 at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. This PGA Tour event attracts some of the world’s best golfers. The tournament will consist of 144 golfers competing over 72 holes. Golfers are competing for a total purse of $5.6 million. Over 100,000 spectators come out to see golf and all of the festivities.

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) will host the FAU Spring Break Golf Championships on March 23-25, 2012 at The Fountains Country Club in Delray Beach. The Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame was created to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements and contributions of local athletes, coaches, administrators, media, and others in the field of sports. Each year in early spring, the inductees are honored at a gala banquet.

This youth tennis tournament will take place at the Delray Beach Tennis Center, the Delray Swim & Racquet Club, and the Boca West Country Club. The draw consists of 128 players in each gender division (256 total), consisting of the highest-ranked players, 12 years old and under in the US competing in singles and doubles competition. Each player will compete in a minimum of 4 games in 4 days. The winners of the 4th day will continue competing based on single elimination for the championship.

The Memorial Day Classic is one of four Under Armour/Team One Baseball National Tournaments that will take place at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, FL. The event is a wood composite bat tournament that features both a 16u and 18u age division. A total of 30 teams are expected to compete. Teams will play two (2) round robin games and a minimum guarantee of three (3) total games. Players will have an opportunity to earn an invitation to the Under Armour / Team One National Showcases. The Boca Blast is a summer tournament that is part of the Florida United Lacrosse Cup series, sponsored by Premier Players Lacrosse Academy. 2012 will be the 6th year for this tournament which was previously held at St. Andrews in Boca Raton. This is an 18U tournament, with 66 teams, sanctioned by Florida United Cup. The tournament is a two-day round-robin event and offers Boy's Divisions at U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 (High School) levels. Two Girl's Divisions have been added, and include both a MS and HS category.

This is an annual event that serves as the eastern region championships for the 15-16 year old age group. USA Baseball uses the tournament to select individuals for their 48-member Junior National team tryout. A total of 18 players will be selected from the tryout for the National team, which will represent the United States during international play, including the Pan American Championships. Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter and the Santaluces Athletic Complex in Lantana will host the 2012 USA Baseball 16 & under Championships. A total of 72 teams and approximately 1,200 athletes will play in 264 games. This is the premier tournament for the 15 & 16 year old age group. USA Baseball is the national governing body for the sport of baseball, governing more than 12 million amateur players.

The United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) State “A” Fastpitch Softball Championships will take place on July 6-8 at Seminoles Palm Park, John Prince Park, Okeeheelee Park and Caloosa Park. The event is expected to bring in 70 teams from across the state of Florida and the southeast region. This tournament is the highest level junior tennis tournament in the country for boys 16u & 18u divisions. The draw consists of 192 participants in each age division (384 total), competing in singles and doubles competition.
