Save The Jaguar 5k, Presented by Sagicor

Sep 5, 2015 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM

Did you know that jaguars once roamed the southwestern United States, but no longer.  The Palm Beach Zoo supports jaguar conservation efforts in South & Central America where they too are endangered due to habitat loss and other issues. But the purchase of sustainably produced coffee and chocolate from the jaguar’s range can help reduce the threat to their survival.

Whether you're a serious 5k runner looking to post your new PR, or a family who wants to walk  and enjoy the exhibits at the Palm Beach Zoo, sign up now!  Registration is now open for the 1st annual Save The Jaguar 5k, Presented by Sagicor.  The first 500 runners registered recieve a free t-shirt, but an all day Zoo admission is included with every registration.  The run is September 5th, but  register early because  prices go up on 8/11/15.

The course begins in the Zoo parking lot then winds through the Dreher Park enterance of the Zoo. The course includes spectaculor views of the new Tiger River habitat, the Fennec Fox exhibit, Siamang Island, Wallabys, Ocelots and much more on your way to the finish line at the Interactive Fountain where you’re welcome to cool off.

Remember your race registration includes free Zoo admission for 9/5/15 and half-off discount coupons for friends and family that want to come out to support and enjoy the day at the Zoo.
