XPE NFL Combine Prep Training

Xtreme Performance Enhancement (XPE) Sports will conduct a pre-draft training camp for athletes aspiring to play football in the National Football League. The XPE NFL Combine Prep Training prepares future professional football players, both physically and mentally, for the 4-day draft evaluation period that is executed by the NFL. Approximately 24 athletes will travel from across the country to train in this intensive combine, which starts on January 5, 2014 and lasts until April 10. XPE Sports will utilize the Seacrest Soccer Complex in Delray Beach, the new Jaco Atlantic Hybrid Training Center in north Boca Raton, and the Florida Atlantic University as venues to conduct the combine. In the past, college stars such as Jacoby Ford (Clemson), Jahvid Best (California), Kareem Jackson (Alabama), and Eric Berry (Tennessee) participated in this event. Global Dressage Festival

The Global Dressage Festival (GDF) is one of the world's largest international and national dressage circuits featuring five CDIs, including a 5*, the first non-championship CDIO Nations' Cup in the Western Hemisphere, and nine U.S. national events. The GDF offers more than $275,000 in prize money for the five international competitions, making it one of the richest circuits in the world. In addition to the CDIs with national competitions, the GDF features four separate national shows to be held at the newly constructed venue that extends the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) show grounds. The GDF encompasses almost 60 acres of the former Palm Beach Polo Grounds. Winter Equestrian Festival

The FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) is the world's largest and longest running equestrian competition. The 12-week event, which runs from January through March, awards over $6 million dollars in prize money and hosts 5,000 horses and 2,800 riders from 50 states and 31 countries. During WEF, spectators can enjoy Saturday Night Lights every Saturday evening beginning at 6 pm. The FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival is run by Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC and Wellington Equestrian Partners and held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

FJA State Judo Championships

The Florida Judo Association (FJA) State Championships will take place at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach on April 4. More than 200 competitors from across the state of Florida will compete and vie for a chance to become a state champion. The FJA State Championship features divisions for men and women. USA Gymnastics Men's Southeast Regional Championships (Region VIII)

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is partnering with Gymnastics Revolution (Palm Beach County based gymnastics club) to bid on the USA Gymnastics (USAG) Men's Southeast Regional Championship (Region VIII), which is scheduled to take place on April 9-12, 2015. The USAG Men's Southeast Regional Championship is expected to attract approximately 800 gymnasts, 200 coaches, and 2,000 total visitors from 8 states. This meet will feature gymnasts from the ages of 8 to 18 competing in skill levels 7, 8, 9,10 & elite. Gymnasts must compete in State Championships meets to qualify for Regionals. Gymnasts competing in the Section VIII Regionals will have an opportunity to qualify for the USAG Nationals. The Men's USAG Regional includes 6 unique gymnastics events: floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bars.
