The Boca Raton Bowl is a college football bowl game that will feature the Mid-American Conference facing off against, in alternating years, an opponent from the American Athletic Conference or Conference USA. Each conference will participate four times during a six-year agreement that begins with the 2014 season. The inaugural bowl, announced in October 2013, will be played December 23, 2014 at 6pm ET on ESPN before the Christmas holiday, at FAU Stadium on the Florida Atlantic University campus in Boca Raton. The game will be televised live on ESPN.

Coast to Coast Baseball Winter Showcase

Coast to Coast Baseball will take place at Roger Dean Stadium from December 27-31, 2014. Coast to Coast showcases high school aged players. During the program, participants will receive approximately 15-18 hours of group and personal instruction from top college coaches and pro scouts. XPE NFL Combine Prep Training

Date: Jan 5 to Apr 10, 2015
Location: Seacrest Soccer Complex
Xtreme Performance Enhancement (XPE) Sports will conduct a pre-draft training camp for athletes aspiring to play football in the National Football League. The XPE NFL Combine Prep Training prepares future professional football players, both physically and mentally, for the 4-day draft evaluation period that is executed by the NFL. Approximately 24 athletes will travel from across the country to train in this intensive combine, which starts on January 5, 2014 and lasts until April 10. XPE Sports will utilize the Seacrest Soccer Complex in Delray Beach, the new Jaco Atlantic Hybrid Training Center in north Boca Raton, and the Florida Atlantic University as venues to conduct the combine. In the past, college stars such as Jacoby Ford (Clemson), Jahvid Best (California), Kareem Jackson (Alabama), and Eric Berry (Tennessee) participated in this event. Global Dressage Festival

The Global Dressage Festival (GDF) is one of the world's largest international and national dressage circuits featuring five CDIs, including a 5*, the first non-championship CDIO Nations' Cup in the Western Hemisphere, and nine U.S. national events. The GDF offers more than $275,000 in prize money for the five international competitions, making it one of the richest circuits in the world. In addition to the CDIs with national competitions, the GDF features four separate national shows to be held at the newly constructed venue that extends the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) show grounds. The GDF encompasses almost 60 acres of the former Palm Beach Polo Grounds. Winter Equestrian Festival

The FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) is the world's largest and longest running equestrian competition. The 12-week event, which runs from January through March, awards over $6 million dollars in prize money and hosts 5,000 horses and 2,800 riders from 50 states and 31 countries. During WEF, spectators can enjoy Saturday Night Lights every Saturday evening beginning at 6 pm. The FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival is run by Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC and Wellington Equestrian Partners and held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

Prep School Lacrosse Showcase

Date: Jan 17 to 18, 2015
Location: St. Andrews High School
THE ELEVEN Lacrosse Group, in conjunction with the Prep School Lacrosse Showcase will hold a comprehensive two-day lacrosse clinic and camp for boys in the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades (current grad years - 2016, 2017 and 2018). Coaches from at least ten of the finest academic institutions in the country will provide all coaching and instruction to participants for the duration of the camp. All players will participate in 5 games and at least 4 instructional sessions over the course of the weekend. Camp will be held at Saint Andrew's School in Boca Raton, FL from January 17 - 18, 2015. Camp will be capped at only 184 players. Registration will be closed once capacity is reached.

Knock & Roll Wheelchair Rugby Tournament

Location: Lake Worth Theraputic Center
The South Florida Rattlers, Inc. and Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation will host the 14th Annual Knock & Roll Wheelchair Rugby tournament at the Lake Worth Therapeutic Center's gymnasium on January 23-25, 2015. Wheelchair Rugby is the only organized full contact wheelchair sport in the world today. The United States Quad Rugby Association sanctions the event. The USQRA National Team will compete against teams from other countries, but this year will re-emphasize teams from within the United States Quad Rugby Association. This model has seen growth in other tournaments across the country. The event will host a projected 8 teams and 250 competitors.

Cherry Blossom Open XXI & The USA Cup

Delray Beach is becoming an epicenter for Judo. The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is partnering with Tomodachi Judo Club to host the Cherry Blossom Open XXI & The USA Judo Cup at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach. Competitors will participate in a variety of age divisions, (youth and adults), which feature both a Shiai and Kata competition for boys and girls. Shiai is a contest between two competitors to determine a winner of a match. The Kata competition allows competitors to demonstrate their form and ability to conduct formal exercises comprising of a fixed sequence of basic self-defense and attacking techniques. A selection of skill levels were on display, which will range from white belts to black belts. Competitors from across the globe will travel to participate in the USA Cup.
