Dream Big Basketball Summer League

Dream Big Elite 75 Summer Basketball League is a gathering of the top 75 players in Palm Beach County or top Eight (8) Teams in Elementary, Middle and High School. These players sign up to compete as part of their own team or they sign up as an individual to participate in the Summer Basketball League. Games will run from June 16 - August 2, 2014. Games are played at the Dan Calloway (Tate) Recreation Center and the Wells Recreation Center Gymnasiums in Riviera Beach, Florida. We are asking for your participation in the Championships. Optimist International Junior Golf Championships

The Optimist International Junior Golf Championships is one of the largest and well-known junior golf tournaments in the world. The tournament will take place on July 19-29, 2014 at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. This event attracts approximately 563 youth competitors from the United States, Canada, and 30 other countries. The first half of the tournament features boys and girls from 10 and under to 15 and under. The second half of the tournament features boys and girls from 16 & under to 18 and under.

Cal Ripken 10U Southeast Regional

The Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association (PBGYAA) will host the Cal Ripken 10U Southeast Regional at Gardens Park on July 24-27. The event will determine the southeast regional champion for the 9 and 10 year old age group. The tournament will attract 20 teams and 300 youth players across Florida. The tournament features pool play followed by a single game elimination bracket to crown a regional champion. Cal Ripken Baseball is one of the most prestigious organizations in the nation that offers tournaments for little leaguers. Police Athletic League (PAL) Back to School Bash

The Back to School Baseball Bash, hosted by Palm Beach County PAL, will take place at the Santaluces Athletic Complex in Lantana and Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. The event is scheduled to take place July 24-29, 2014. This will be the 4th annual Palm Beach PAL tournament, which continues to grow and expand in terms of teams, venues, and scouts. More than 40 teams are expected to compete in both the 18U and 15/16U age divisions, beginning with three days of pool play and advancing to two days of playoff baseball. Florida Senior Open Championships

The Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) will bring the Florida Senior Open to Palm Beach County during the summer of 2014. The Florida Senior Open will be conducted on August 8-10 at The Breakers Rees Jones Course and Mayacoo Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach. The Florida Senior Open gives the best senior amateurs in the state a chance to compete with senior golf professionals living in Florida. For players to compete in the Florida Senior open they would need to be 50 years old as of the first day of the Championship. Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) Senior Open

The Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) will host three tournaments in Palm Beach County during the fall of 2014. The tournaments include; The Florida Senior Open Championship (August 8-10), the Mid- Senior Four-Ball South Championships (September 13-14), and the 33rd Annual Mid-Amateur Championship (October 9-12). In all, these three tournaments will feature players from Mid-Amateur (25 years and up), Mid-Senior (40 and up), and Senior (50 and up) age groups. The tournaments will attract a total of 336 players, with nearly 300 of these expected to stay in hotels. In total, the tournaments are projected to create 638 hotel room-nights. The Florida Senior Open's 156-player field will play at The Breakers Rees Jones Course and Mayacoo Lake Country Club in West Palm Beach. The Mid-Amateur Championship's 84-player field will compete at the Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter. 27th Annual Charles R. O'Meilia Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Building Official association of Palm Beach County cordially invites you to participate in their 27th Annual Charles R. O'Meilia Golf Tournament. The Charles R. O'Meilia Scholarship is now being awarded at the national level. The Building Officials Association of Palm Beach County continues to award this scholarship at the local level to three college students, as well as sponsoring one scholarship through the Building Officials Association of Florida at the State level and one scholarship through the International Code Council at the national level. This means that during any given scholastic year, the Association is helping five students to achieve their academic goals. All net proceeds raised from the tournamnet will help to further educate the students of the Palm Beach County in becoming architecs, engineers and contractors.
