33rd Annual Mid-Amateur Championship

Location: Loxahatchee Club
The Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) will host its 33rd Annual Mid-Amateur Championship at The Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, Florida on October 9-12, 2014. The tournament will feature an 84 player field with 36 holes of individual stroke play. There will be a hole by hole play-off to determine the last qualifier's place in the Championship immediately - All other ties for seeds will be broken randomly. The match play round of 32 will begin Friday afternoon. The round of 16 will be played on Saturday morning and the quarter-finals will begin Saturday afternoon. The semi-finals will be played on Sunday morning and Championship match will be played on Sunday afternoon. Perfect Game- World Wood Bat Association Championships

Over 1,500 athletes and 80 teams from across the nation will compete in one of the most competitive amateur baseball tournaments in the country. This 18 and under tournament attracts a strong following of major league baseball scouts due to the talent that competes at this tournament. In 2013, approximately 700 scouts descended upon Palm Beach County. This event will take place at Roger Dean Stadium from October 23-27, 2014. World Powerlifting Congress (WPC) World Championships

Location: West Palm Beach Box Expo Center
The World Powerlifting Congress Consists of more than 30 countries, whose individual lifting seasons culminate in the annual World Championships each November. This event, which is held in the United States in even-numbered years and internationally in odd-numbered years, will bring nearly 800 of the world's best powerlifters (male and female, in teen, junior, open, and masters age group) to West Palm Beach's Box Expo Center from November 10-16, 2014. Powerlifting consists of three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. Lifters compete for the highest totals in full competition, while single-lift competitors vie for the heaviest single lift. American Junior Golf Association Polo Golf Junior Classic

The AJGA Polo Golf Junior Classic, which has been conducted annually since 1978, is one of the premier tournaments on the American Junior Golf Association's season. The 156-player invitation-only field is made up of boys and girls, ages 12-18, from 25 states and 12 foreign countries. Former champions include Stewart Clark (1989), Tiger Woods (1991), Paula Creamer (2002), Grace Park (1994,1996) and Morgan Pressel (2004). The event is scheduled to take place at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens from November 22-28, 2014. United States Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) Girls Winter Interregional

Date: Nov 23 to 28, 2014
Location: Florida Atlantic University
The United States Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) Girls Winter Interregional is an extremely competitive tournament, which attracts a total of 16 teams (4 regional teams in 4 age divisions) comprised of the most skilled soccer players in the nation. The age division are: 14u, 15u, 16u, & 17u. US youth Soccer divides its teams into the following regions: midwest, west, northeast, and southern. The elite athletes had to endure an extensive tryout and selection process to earn a spot on a regional team. The games would take place at Florida Atlantic University and its 5 soccer fields. Team practices would occur at Spanish River Atheltic Complex in Boca Raton. Over 100 college coaches from across the country will attend to scout some of the most talented girls soccer players in the country.
