Stephanie Lanza, is the Director of Alumni and Community Relations at Northwood University in the heart of West Palm Beach. An active supporter of the Sports Commission for over a decade she is also a Palm Beach County Diplomat and involved with many local organizations, including the Business Development Board and the Hotel & Lodging Association. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and resides in Jupiter with her husband Chris and son Matthew.

Patty Dent is a Vice-President, Branch Manager for Enterprise Bank of Florida in North Palm Beach and has been in the banking industry for 30 years. In addition to her involvement with the Sports Commission, she sits on the board of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce, Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County, TEAM Elam Foundation and 6 Degree's Golf for Women. She has lived in Jupiter, Florida for 30 years with her husband Rick and two daughters Kelly and Katie.

A south Florida resident for more than 35 years, Michelle hails from Youngstown, Ohio and is the Senior Executive Director of the American Cancer Society Palm Beach Unit. Prior to joining ACS, Michelle owned and operated Par Excellence, LLC, a full-service marketing and public relations agency specializing in event management. Michelle is a member of the Advertising Federation of the Palm Beaches, Women in Communication and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Michelle is also the author of "It's My Dog's Life."

Jack Daniels

Jack Daniels is a special education teacher at W. T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens.  He is currently the football coach and has won a state championship.  In addition, he has coached track and baseball. He has won football coach of the year from the Sports Commission.  Jack is a graduate of the University of Florida and was a member of the Gator's football team.  He has grown up playing sports in Palm Beach County and continues to coach in the area.

John DeMott
Career Radio and TV Sportscaster

Now retired, DeMott's forty plus year career included sports casting assignments in San Diego, Portland and Colorado Springs including a decade as an announcer for the Chargers. In 1992, he joined WJNO Radio as sports director. A board member since 1993, he is vice-chair of the Groza and a member of the Grants, Finance, Audit, Hall of Fame and Strategic Planning committees.

Mr. Knowles, a Palm Beach County native and former Director General, World Conference of Mayors is a retired (1991) Washington, DC Government Executive. He is a graduate of Morgan State University and University of Oklahoma. His passion is golf. He returned to Palm Beach County in 1993 and started their first after school golf program at JFK Middle School, Riviera Beach as his way of giving back to the children. He then founded “Inner City Youth Golfers’, Inc., in January 2001. Its unique youth initiative: “Say NO To Drugs – Say YES To Education, Culture & Golf” was established to promote the positive aspects of life. To further his vision, he started the “African American Golfers Hall Of Fame” in April 2004; the “African American Collegiate & Youth Golfers Hall of Fame” in 2010 and Golf Fore Anyone, Inc.

Steve Politziner, General Manager of ESPN 760 and Vice President of parent company Good Karma Broadcasting, oversees all aspects of ESPN760 including radio, digital, TV, print, events, and team relations.  He has been the versatile piece in transforming ESPN 760 from just a radio station into a true sports marketing company.

Margie J. Walden serves as a Director on the Alliance of Delray Board. She has directed fund raising activities for Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service, Florida Atlantic University College of Science, and the Florida Academy of Audiology. She has also served as the Executive Director for the Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation and the Taiwan International Alliance and has held leadership positions at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Girl Scouts of the USA.

Played basketball and track and field (discus) at State University of New York at Cortland, was Assistant General Manager of Jersey Turnpikes, United States Basketball League. Currently coaches youth basketball at Blum YMCA in Boca Raton.

Mike Bauer is beginning his third year as General Manager of Roger Dean Stadium. Previously, Bauer was the Executive Director of Palace Baseball for the Ashville Tourists and before that he was the Director of Guest Services for the Tampa Bay Lightning. He and his wife Stacy have two boys.

He is responsible for partnering with key regional and national accounts, to provide single source marketing operations solutions. He is also an Executive Trustee member of the Palm Beach Hispanic Chamber, and member of the Palms West Chamber. He graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor in Business and I.T. and resides in the Village of Wellington, along with his wife and two daughters.

Kennerly is the President & CEO of IGPGROUP, Inc. dba IGP Sports & Entertainment Group. IGP is an international sports marketing, event management, and athlete representation firm specializing in the golf industry. High profile clients include the management of The Honda Classic (a PGA TOUR event), PGA TOUR Professional Robert Allenby, and several other professional golfers. A native of New York City, and graduate of Dartmouth College, Kennerly moved to Palm Beach County in 1993.

Michelle McGann
LPGA Golfer

The West Palm Beach native joined the LPGA Tour in 1988. She has seven LPGA tour victories and was a member of the 1996 USA Solheim Cup Team where her 4-0 playoff record is the best in LPGA history.  McGann’s biggest challenge has been living with Type 1 Diabetes.  While Michelle ranks in the top 50 of all-time LPGA money earners, she raised millions, and spent thousands of hours benefiting diabetes causes, including The Michelle McGann Fund, assisting children and families suffering from diabetes.

Jason Rittenberry

Jason Rittenberry is President and Chief Executive Officer of IRG Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of multiple motorsports and entertainment properties, including Palm Beach International Raceway, Memphis International Raceway in Memphis, Tennessee and the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) in Norwalk, Ohio.  Prior to his current position, Rittenberry served as Vice President & General Manager of Memphis Motorsports Park (a Dover Motorsports, Inc. NASCAR facility NYSE:DVD) for ten years. He is a native of Tennessee and a graduate of the University of Memphis.  He and his wife, Jeanie, live in Jupiter with their two children.

Howard Schnellenberger
FAU - Director of Football Operations/Head Football Coach

Coach Schnellenberger joined FAU in 1998 with the opportunity to build the football program from the ground up. He took to the challenge and the FAU football team made its debut on September 1, 2001. FAU holds the record for the fastest start up program to earn a Division I-A victory, is the fastest program to reach the Division I-AA playoffs and the fastest start up program to be invited to a bowl game. Schnellenberger began his coaching career in 1959. His career highlights include: four national collegiate football championships, seven NFL playoff teams, best record in NFL history as the Miami Dolphins' Offensive Coordinator, 1983 National Champions (University of Miami) and 1983 National Coach of the Year.

John currently serves as the Director of Sports Marketing for Duffy’s along with overseeing its community outreach and social media assets.

Carolyn Stone is a native and resident of North Palm Beach, Stone brings more than 20 years of professional experience in sport management and administration serving in roles at the Village of North Palm Beach, Town of Palm Beach and the City of Palm Beach Gardens. She is also a past president of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches.  She is a graduate of the University of Florida and received her graduate degree from the University of Georgia.  Married to Ed Stone, she resides in North Palm Beach with their two sons, Jack (13) and Luke (11).
