Event Summary

The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), held at Wellington International, will return from January 3 to March 31, 2024, boasting the highest economic and tourism impact of any annual sports event in Palm Beach County. As the world’s longest-running equestrian event, WEF draws national and international equine athletes, including Olympic-caliber and international riders, to compete in Jumpers, Hunters, and Dressage categories with a prize pool exceeding $13 million. With over 7,000 horses and 6,000 riders from across the U.S. and 42 nations in the previous year, it’s a gathering of remarkable scale. The event caters to elite riders and children, juniors, adults, and amateurs across more than 55 divisions. Each week, considered an individual horse show, brings together over 20,000 participants, including exhibitors, horse owners, trainers, and support personnel, within the state-of-the-art equestrian show complex’s 18 competition rings.
