Men’s Senior Baseball League Florida Fall Classic Returns
West Palm Beach, FL-The Men’s Senior Baseball League (MSBL) Florida Fall Classic returns again this year November 8-19, 2011 to Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie, and the Vero Beach Sports Village. Considered to be one of the premier and largest amateur adult baseball organizations in the nation, MSBL
will feature more than 120 teams and 2,000 players from the United States, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.
This wood and metal bat competition will crown champions in various age groups that range from 18 and up to 58 and up. The age groups will be divided into skill divisions that range from recreational to those with collegiate or professional experience.
After an 18 year stint on the west coast of Florida, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission won an aggressive bid process to lure the MSBL’s Fall Classic to the east coast for the first time in ’09. “The Palm Beach County area offers magnificent facilities that the players really enjoy” says Gary D’Ambrisi, National Vice President. “This area also offers a wide variety of other off the field entertainment from coffee houses, great restaurants, live music and night life that accommodates all ages.”
This Fall Classic is expected to generate over 2,200 room nights, and $1.5 million in economic impact for Palm Beach County. For additional information please visit the Palm Beach County Sports Commission website at www.palmbeachsports.com.
