South Florida's Interactive Youth Sports Experience is back!
What: The Kids Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches presented by Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida
Where: Palm Beach County Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33401
When: Wednesday, July 11th and Thursday, July 12th, 2012 from 10am – 3pm each day. Check presentation with Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida officials and Ronald McDonald July 11 at 10am.
Why: The Kids’ Fitness Festival offers something for every child under the age of 13. Elementary and middle school children can participate in over 40 traditional and nontraditional sport clinics from the area’s leading instructors, or they can hang out in the midway, play games and interact with mascots.
A complete list of the sport clinicians participating in this year’s event include; Badminton, baseball, basketball, bowling, boxing, Crazy Games, cricket, croquet, cycling, dance, flag football, fencing, fishing, football, golf, gymnastics, hula hoop, judo, jump rope, karate, mixed martial arts, netball, polo, pickle ball, powerlifting, roping, rugby, running, soccer, table tennis, tennis, tae kwon do, tai chi, ultimate frisbee, wrestling, Zumba, Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins and the Florida Panthers.
Price per child is $17, parents are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.palmbeachsports.com/kff or at the door. Children must be accompanied by a guardian/adult.
The Kids’ Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches is presented by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. Other supporting sponsors include: ESPN Radio 760, Primetime Palm Beach County, Inc., and Cardinals-Marlins Fund of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach & Martin Counties.
