INAUGURAL SINGER ISLAND BEACH POLO BRINGS
PONIES AND PLAYERS ONTO THE SANDS OF
RIVIERA BEACH’s SINGER ISLAND
SINGER ISLAND, FLA., Feb. 23, 2019 – The Riviera Beach municipal beach on Singer Island will be cordoned off on Saturday, February. 23, 2019 until 5:00 pm to host six teams of polo players on 75 different horses playing three games of polo on the sand.
The one-day event, Singer Island Beach Polo, is expected to draw
300 spectators in its first year. More than 100 VIP tickets already have been presold to sponsors.
They play Polo on grass. They play Polo on snow. Don't miss Polo on the beach. More than just a sport, Singer Island Beach Polo offers the audience a modern take on an old sport. While it does and always will maintain the prestige that traditional polo deserves, it is more relaxed and accessible to a younger and trendier crowd.
Tickets to the VIP tent are $100, with bar service and complimentary champagne. General admission is $20.

Gates open at 10:30 am, followed by matches at 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm, concluding with a champagne toast to the winners at 4:00 pm.
No coolers or glass are allowed at the event. An after party open to the public will be held at Johnny Longboats, in the Ocean Walk Mall, directly behind the polo field.
