The Ultimate Weeks of Sport are Coming to The Palm Beaches

This February 16-27, gear up for 12 epic days of gameplay in five different sports. 

Life as a sports fan in The Palm Beaches is unrivaled. There are over 145 golf courses, scores of water sports and a plethora of other outdoor activities to choose from year-round. Yet, for 12 days in February, sports fans can experience an even more exciting time than before! These 12 days bring together an elite slate of sporting events dubbed by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission as the Ultimate Weeks of Sport.  During these action-packed days, you can experience five different professional sports around The Palm Beaches – including polo, equestrian sports, golf, tennis, and baseball. Delray Beach Open Finals – February 16 

Delray Beach Open Dates: February 7-16, 2025.

Come see tennis elite, both past and present, at the Delray Beach Open, Feb. 7-16, 2025—the only tournament in the world to feature both the ATP Tour and fan-favorite legends from the ATP Champions Tour. Held at the Delray Beach Tennis Center, the tournament draws more than 60,000 spectators to one of the premier tennis facilities of the southeast. In its 33rd year, the tournament reaches television audiences in over 50 countries over 10 days.  Don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy it in person at the world-class facility at the entrance of picturesque and palm-lined downtown Delray Beach. 

The legends event features the best doubles team in tennis history, Bob and Mike Bryan,as well as Grand Slam champions Luke and Murphy Jensen, and singles champions Sam Querrey, Jack Sock, Xavier Malisse, and Tommy Haas.

Winter Equestrian Festival Week 7- February 18-23 

Winter Equestrian Festival Dates: January 1 – March 30, 2025. 

The Winter Equestrian Festival takes place at Wellington International, an award-winning and internationally renowned venue that operates the largest and longest-running hunter/jumper horse show in the world while welcoming thousands of the world’s best riders from all 50 states and more than 42 countries. Wellington International offers 80 acres of competition arenas, with 18 arenas boasting state-of-the-art sand footing. The main international arena is also complete with box seating and hospitality pavilions, offering an elevated experience for excited fans. From February 18 to February 23, don’t miss the WEF Week 7 Horse Show sponsored by Lugano Diamonds at Wellington International. 

 

MLB Spring Training – February 22-23 

Spring Training Dates: February 22– March 23, 2025. 

Spring Training is a can’t-miss experience in The Palm Beaches, where the teams of the Grapefruit League warm-up for the MLB regular season under the South Florida sun. 

Head to Jupiter’s Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, which comfortably seats over 8,000, including box suites, and features a press box, as well as two high-def, all digital video boards. It is no surprise the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins spend their Spring Training here. With unparalleled player access and close-up encounters with veteran stars and up-and-coming prospects alike, the Spring Training experience here is truly one-of-a-kind.  

Drive South to West Palm Beach and you’ll find The Cacti Park of The Palm Beaches, home to both the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros. This park is intimate, yet world-class. With just 7,700 seats, the Cacti Park of The Palm Beaches is about a quarter of the size of MLB’s smallest regular-season stadium, but it offers big-league amenities, including a Craft Corner with a variety of craft beers on tap, suites, lawn seats starting at just $20 and ample parking. 

Gauntlet of Polo C.V. Whitney Cup Final – February 23 

C.V. Whitney Cup Dates: February 7-23, 2025. 

Palm Beach Polo Season rides into town from December 29, 2024, to April 27, 2025. Throughout those 16 weeks, the world’s finest horses, preeminent teams, and most skilled players will be competing for the prestigious Gauntlet of Polo™.  In the ultimate survival of the fittest, the Gauntlet of Polo comprises three elite tournaments: the C.V. Whitney Cup, the USPA Gold Cup and the U.S. Open Polo Championship. The team that wins all three takes home the largest prize in the sport: $1,000,000. The C.V. Whitney Cup – the first of three 22-goal tournaments in the Gauntlet of Polo – runs from February 7-23. Be sure to attend the final on February 23! Sports fans can experience both elite polo as well as an elite venue. The National Polo Center (NPC) is nothing short of extraordinary, spanning 250 acres, and created with both players and spectators in mind, the NPC offers an unrivaled experience you do not want to miss! 

The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches – February 24 

The Classic in The Palm Beaches Dates: February 24 – March 1, 2025.  

The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches (formerly known as Honda Classic) has been bringing top PGA TOUR talent to The Palm Beaches since 2003, providing a week of entertainment and one of the finest fan experiences around. Held at the PGA National Resort, fans can expect world-class experiences on the beautiful Championship Course. PGA National also boasts acclaimed dining options, an oasis-like spa, and sports & racquet club complete with 12 pickleball courts for those looking to supplement their tournament experience. The tournament features a field of 144 players and a purse of $7 million, with net proceeds benefiting the locally based Children’s Healthcare Charity. Tee it up with the game’s top players on the Champion Course the Monday of tournament week. The relaxed golf setting played in TOUR event format provides an unparalleled environment for all golf enthusiasts alike.

TGL Presented by SoFi – February 17-18 

TGL Dates:February 17-18, 2025 

TGL presented by SoFi is an innovative and exciting new golf league that blends cutting-edge technology with teams of top PGA TOUR players for fast-paced, two-hour weekly matches in prime time, launching in January 2025. Six teams, each representing a different city, will compete throughout the season at SoFi Center—a groundbreaking venue designed exclusively for TGL on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Creating an electrifying “greenside” fan experience, SoFi Center wraps 1,500 fans around TGL’s field of play, which is about the size of a football field at nearly 100-yards long and 50-yards wide. Fans can catch all the action in person or live on ESPN and ESPN+ in the U.S., with every shot broadcast in real time and players mic’d up, TGL offers unmatched access and excitement for golf enthusiasts.
