14th Annual Summer Smash Open Returns to Palm Beach County This August

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – The 14th Annual Summer Smash Open, hosted by the City of Delray Beach and organized by Players International Management (PIM), returns this August, bringing top junior tennis players from across the country to Palm Beach County.

One of the largest USTA Level 4 junior tournaments in the nation, the event will take place over two weekends, with the Boys 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s divisions competing August 15-17, 2026, and the Girls 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s divisions competing August 22-24, 2026. Matches will be played on clay courts at premier venues throughout Palm Beach County, including the Boca Raton Racquet Center, One Tennis Academy, Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center, The Country Club at Mirasol, Delray Swim & Tennis Club, and the Delray Beach Tennis Center.

The tournament features 64-player singles draws in each division, providing athletes the opportunity to earn valuable USTA ranking points while competing against some of the nation’s best junior talent. Feed-in consolation rounds will ensure additional match play and development opportunities for participants.

Athlete wellness remains a priority throughout the event. Athletic training services provided by Baptist Health South Florida will be available at tournament sites to support competitors during play. Players will compete under USTA regulations, with an emphasis on sportsmanship, fair play, and positive competition.
