Championship Golf Returns to The Palm Beaches: NCAA DII Men’s Finals Set to Tee Off at PGA National Resort

The 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf National Championship will be held at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens from May 19-23, co-hosted by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission and Palm Beach Atlantic University. This marks the second time this national championship will be contested in The Palm Beaches, with the previous event taking place in 2021. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

This National Championship consists of both team and individual competitions conducted concurrently. In total, 108 golfers (20 qualifying teams and eight individuals) will compete in The Palm Beaches. After 54-holes of stroke play, the top eight teams will advance to the single elimination medal match-play finals. The individual champion will be crowned after the 54-hole stroke play competition.

The finalists advancing to Palm Beach Gardens include:

Atlantic/East Regional:

  • Teams: Davis & Elkins, Gannon, Charleston (West Virginia)
  • Individuals: Nolan Skaggs (St. Thomas Aquinas), Johnny Solari (Adelphi)

Central/Midwest Regional:

  • Teams: Central Oklahoma, Missouri-St. Louis, Missouri S&T, Central Missouri
  • Individuals: Marco Anderson (Washburn), Yadhu Urs (Ohio Dominican)

South/Southeast Regional:

  • Teams: North Georgia, Wingate, West Florida, Columbus State, Lee, Lincoln Memorial, Florida Southern
  • Individuals: Asmund Norum (King, TN), Felipe Gomez (Georgia Southwestern)

South Central/West Regional:

  • Teams: Colorado Christian, Oklahoma Christian, Cal State East Bay, St. Mary’s (Texas), Cal State San Bernardino, West Texas A&M
  • Individuals: Agustin Pizzorno (Colorado State Pueblo), Cambron Nevill (Sonoma State)

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission’s successful bid for this NCAA Championship event signifies a historic milestone. This event represents the fifth NCAA Golf National Championship to take place in The Palm Beaches over the last seven years.

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is enjoying an unprecedented pace of winning bids and organizing NCAA Golf National Championships. The 11 NCAA Golf Championships bids awarded and nine NCAA Golf Championships that have taken place in The Palm Beaches over a 10-year span is more than any other destination in the United States – cementing the region as Florida’s Golf Capital and a premier international destination for the sport.

As a part of these tourism development efforts, The Palm Beaches will also host several upcoming NCAA postseason events secured by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, including the 2026 Division II Women’s Golf Championship, the 2027 Division I Women’s Golf Regional, the 2027 Division II Men’s Golf Championship, and the 2028 Division I Men’s Golf Regional.
