The brand-new Gardens North County District Park opened in the summer of 2019 on 82 acres of land in the immaculate and inviting City of Palm Beach Gardens. Soccer players can get their kicks across 10 lighted Latitude 36 Bermuda Grass multipurpose fields—designed from the ground up with FIFA regulations in mind. State-of-the-art LED sports lighting surrounds each multipurpose field, luscious hibiscus flowers line the playground areas, and paved walking trails wind through the whole park. The Gardens North County District Park is also home to three concession stands, permanent on-site restrooms, one multipurpose room, a splash pad, two playgrounds with ziplines, a ninja fitness course, and a 5k trail. It can accommodate sports such as archery, field hockey, soccer, lacrosse, rugby, croquet, and more. Each multipurpose field can be configured in a variety of ways to accommodate an array of field layouts. Directly adjacent, the Joseph R. Russo Athletic Complex houses the award-winning Palm Beach Gardens Tennis & Pickleball Center, which contains 20 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, 10 permanent and 6 temporary pickleball courts, a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, café, pro shop, and room rental opportunities.
