Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame Annual Sport Awards Finalists Announced

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission has announced the finalists for the 2024 Annual Sport Awards. These awards will be presented at the 47th Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame presented by Baptist Health, an event that honors the outstanding athletes, coaches, and contributors to sports in the region. This year’s banquet will take place on March 24, 2024. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

The Annual Sport Awards recognize excellence across a range of categories, including Amateur Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, High School Coach of the Year, High School Player of the Year (male and female), Special Olympics Athlete of the Year, and Outstanding Sports Contributor. The finalists are:

Amateur Athlete of the Year

Johnell Davis – Florida Atlantic University, Basketball

Andrew Riley – Palm Beach Atlantic University, Golf

Jordan Travis – Florida State University, Football

Coach of the Year

Adam Epstein – Keiser University, Swimming and Diving

Dusty May – Florida Atlantic University, Basketball

Doug Socha – Keiser University, Football

High School Coach of the Year

Ashley Byrd – Spanish River Community High School, Softball

Toby Harbeck – The Benjamin School, Golf

Fred Ross – William T. Dwyer High School, Basketball

High School Athlete of the Year – Female

Alex Dorr – American Heritage School, Lacrosse

Emma O’Day – Boca Raton Community High School, Cross Country

Lily White – The Benjamin School, Soccer and Football

High School Athlete of the Year – Male

Javian Mallory – West Boca Raton Community High School, Football
