Sandlot 7v7 Pro-Am Challenge Expands to Wellington for 5th Annual Event

WELLINGTON, FL – The 5th Annual Sandlot 7v7 Pro-Am Challenge, the nation’s only National Football League player-centric youth 7v7 football tournament, will take place March 20–22, 2026 at Village Park Athletics Complex in Wellington, Florida.

Founded in 2021 by Lamar Jackson, former NFL safety Abe Elam, and NFL Players Association Vice President of Player Services Dexter Santos, Sandlot is built in strategic partnership with the NFL Players Association. The event brings together active NFL players, retired legends, and elite youth athletes for three days of competition, mentorship, and community engagement.

The 2026 tournament is expected to welcome approximately 125 youth teams (8U–18U divisions), more than 40 current and former NFL players, and over 4,000 attendees.

In addition to the 7v7 competition, the weekend will feature free youth skills clinics, the Sandlot Combine, the Big Man Gauntlet for linemen, HangTime kicking and punting instruction, and Sandlot’s first-ever sanctioned Girls Flag Tournament. The event kicks off Friday night with the Sandlot Welcome Cookout, a family-friendly celebration with interactive activities and appearances by NFL players.
