PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL — The Shriners Children’s Skills Challenge Featuring Rickie Fowler, a unique golf experience that will combine world-class talent, fan engagement, and charitable impact in support of Shriners Children’s, is coming to The Palm Beaches May 19, 2026.
Set to take place at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, the event will bring together golf enthusiasts and supporters for an exciting skills-based challenge headlined by professional golfer Rickie Fowler. Known for his dynamic presence on the PGA Tour and strong connection with fans, Fowler will help elevate the event into a memorable experience that highlights both competitive golf and community purpose.
Leading into the competition, a Welcome Reception will be held on Monday, May 18 at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa in West Palm Beach, providing an opportunity for guests, partners, and supporters to come together ahead of the event and celebrate the start of an impactful week.
The Skills Challenge is open to golfers of all skill levels—from beginners to advanced players—and will feature a limited field of just 96 participants split into morning and afternoon groups. On Tuesday, May 19, competitors will take part in a series of interactive contests, including longest drive, closest to the pin, putting and chipping challenges, as well as a unique opportunity to enjoy lunch and take photos with Rickie Fowler.
Beyond the competition, the event will place a strong emphasis on philanthropy, with proceeds benefiting Shriners Children’s and its mission to provide specialized pediatric care, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
